So I figured after having TravisKnavel.com for a few years now I would finally put it to use. Be sure to tune in to my attempt at entertaining myself and a legion of others.I've been listening to Talking Heads Sand In The Vaseline nonstop for about three weeks now. It is an anthology of the bands Popular Favorites from 1976-1992. My copy is a British triple vinyl pressing that sounds great. I've seen them on auction sites for $10 - $25. It's available on CD as well.
At any rate, the tune Stay Up Late is stuck in my head at all times. In the liner notes Chris Frantz notes how seriously people took them and how sometimes "you just want to lighten up and laugh." Maybe I'm telling myself something...
Go buy some Talking Heads, it'll make you feel better.

I just heard "This Must Be the Place (Naïve Melody)" a month ago and it has been on heavy rotation ever since. I had forgotten how much I love this band.
