Seems like this is the summer of live music, my triumphant return to seeing it anyway...In no particular order, I've seen The Stray Cats, Pretenders, ZZ Top, The Police (twice), Glenmont Popes, Beastie Boys, Modest Mouse, LCD Soundsystem, Ben Harper and Squeeze so far this summer.
On September 16th I'm going to see Stevie Wonder. Stevie Friggin' Wonder for $32 with just over 4800 of my closest friends. I can not type how stoked I am about this!
In addition to Stevie there are a few more acts (Steve Miller Band, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and Thomas Dolby are a few) coming around that I'd like to check out before summer ends and I think I'm liking seeing live music again, and that is pretty cool.
