Auto-replace is not your friend

I usually avoid social commentary on my website, reserving it more for the things that I'd like to look back on and remember like birthdays or picnics in the park. Well, this was just too good to pass up. It seems that the super geniuses at the American Family Association's OneNewsNow.com website auto-replace words that they find offensive - like gay. What do they auto-replace gay with you ask? Homosexual . I don't find the word gay the least bit offense but apparently some people do...the problem is that sometimes gay is, well, not gay. Sometimes it is someone's last name.
Like I said...social commentary is really not my thing so I'll let the pro at The Carpetbagger Report tell the rest. I just could not avoid spreading the word on the hilarity of the abuse of auto-replace.
