Giant Particle Accelerator Set To Destroy World

The good scientists at CERN flicked the switch on the Large Hadron Collider this morning and we all woke up.
Many people are fearful that the possibility of the collision that will be created by the particle accelerator will cause a black hole that will destroy earth.
Here is my issue with this: most of the people that have this fear do not believe that the universe was created from the big bang theory which is partly what this CERN research is about, so if the big bang theory is a myth so must be black holes. Maybe if we all pray enough the world will not be destroyed by these amazing scientists but we will take a step closer to understanding the origins of our universe.
